I am a Worker by day,
amateur astronomer and photographer by night.
Photography is a good excuse to get out of the
house, go camping, site seeing, visit tourist destinations, cafe's, zoo's,
landmarks etc.
You name it, you can always put it down to “I just
got to go visit X, or meet up with Y to take a few pictures".
I am very fortunate to live in Queensland, Australia
and in an area that is the perfect launching pad to the beach, mountains and
countryside.
In fact, it only takes 20 minutes from my home to
photograph stars with minimum light pollution.
Like many of my other hobbies photography allows for the creative juices to
flow or not depending on your location or mood. As you may have worked
out, I love night sky, low light photography.
Your style of photography can change when the sun
sets or rises, just by swapping out a lens or making an adjustment.
Photography can be as simple or as complex as you
make it, but it can also be a great way to escape, unwind and relax all in one.
These are some of my photographs. You can purchase
a digital copy (about $10) to print and frame yourself, or visit the shop to
order a framed print or two.
